@ Helge You added "drakconf" (MCC) as source RPM, so I assume you'd like to have a selectable option "disable write cache" in MCC => Local disks => Manage disk partitions => Toggle to expert mode => Options Is that correct? @ pterjan Am I wrong to think ticking the "sync" option disables write cache? marja11, pterjan No this bug is not about diskdrake as it currently exists. It is about removable media that gets mounted automatically to /run/media/$USERNAME/$MEDIANAME (or sth. like that) (In reply to Helge Hielscher from comment #2) > No this bug is not about diskdrake as it currently exists. > > It is about removable media that gets mounted automatically to > /run/media/$USERNAME/$MEDIANAME (or sth. like that) IINM, udev handles that, and udev is now merged into systemd. So you'd like a tool in MCC, with which you can add or change a udev rule for when a flash medium gets inserted, correct? CC:

mageia Yes, I would like to have a GUI option in MCC somewhere where I can change how flash media gets mounted. |
