lmenut There are many icons missing in the recent updates of Cauldron here, e.g., Dolphin, Kwrite, Konsole, the Kickoff application launcher, the icon-only task manager, etc. CC:

piscestong yes i need to understand this. The main error is : static QPlatformTheme* QKdeTheme::createKdeTheme(): Unable to determine KDE dirs Created empty directory .kde in my home, rebooted and magically all icons came back (the file .kde/share/config/kdeglobals was created after login) http://marc.info/?l=kde-panel-devel&m=140336078400956 CC:

ita84 Read all the review: "In Plasma Next we're following XDG standard, therefore KDEHOME is not required. This error indicates there's a problem somewhere else looking for a deprecated .kde directory. Please report it on bugs.kde.org. :)" .kde is deprecated and SHOULD NOT be used at all :) Sorry, I was in a hurry and didn't elaborate more. I was just pointing that out as a workaround (not having icons in Dolphin makes things a bit harder to use after all ^^). I doubt I can help with finding the proper solution fixed with rebuilded frameworkintegration. Status:
