PATCH there is a 4.1.7 in testing, does it work any better ? Depends on:

16655 already the fixes to the broadcom driver made it less likely to occur, and with the new kernel I didn't have any suspend/wakeup failures, so yes, I'd say it can be considered fixed. Closing then Status:
