Hi Mike, Do you mind trying again with LC_ALL=C urpmi --auto-update (the output will then be in English, which will make it possible for the assignee to read it) Btw, you have set "Version" to "5", but you tried to install kde-workspace-4.11.21-4.mga6.x86_64 So changing it to Cauldron Keywords:

In order to satisfy the 'netbook-kde4-config|vanilla-kde4-config|netbook-kde4-config|vanilla-kde4-config|netbook-kde4-config|vanilla-kde4-config|netbook-kde4-config|vanilla-kde4-config' dependency, one of the following packages is needed:
1- netbook-kde4-config-5-0.20150505.3.mga5.noarch: Mageia KDE configuration (to install)
2- vanilla-kde4-config-5-0.20150505.3.mga5.noarch: Default configs used for upstream KDE (to install)
What is your choice? (1-2) 1
Some requested packages cannot be installed:
kde-workspace-4.11.21-4.mga6.x86_64 (due to unsatisfied kactivitymanagerd[< 1:5.0.0])
lib64kf5xmlgui-devel-5.11.0-1.mga6.x86_64 (due to unsatisfied kglobalaccel-devel[== 5.11.0])
netbook-kde4-config-5-0.20150505.3.mga5.noarch (due to unsatisfied plasma-applet-knowledgebase)
Continue installation anyway? (Y/n)
ok, i think i understand where the issue comes from, i was running cauldron till release and then wanted to do a inplace upgrade to 5 so i think i have to do a urpmi.remove -a and then add the 5 package sources, right? regards Mike (In reply to Mike Burgener from comment #3) > ok, i think i understand where the issue comes from, i was running cauldron > till release and then wanted to do a inplace upgrade to 5 > > so i think i have to do a urpmi.remove -a and then add the 5 package > sources, right? > You might already have a lot of Mageia-6-cauldron packages you can check and scroll through them with rpm -qa | grep mga6 | less If so. and if what you really want is Mageia 5, then I'd do a clean Mga5 install while keeping /home Keywords:
NEEDINFO =>
(none) KDE4 has been obsoleted by Plasma5 in Cauldron, so I'll assume this is now fixed. Status:
