Description of problem:
When trying to scan with a Canon 9000F Mark II, xsane dies on a regular basis - often before the first scan completes, but regularily when a scanned image is closed - with a variety of Segfaults and Aborts.

Without much efford

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start xsane
2. make a preview scan (that usually works)
3. select a region and scan (preferably at high resolution)
4. close the resulting image (if you get there)

Can you reproduce with another scanner? I cannot reproduce here.
