Description of problem:

As far as I can tell, Drag&Drop is not properly built into the current chromium browser.  Chrome/chromium definitely supports HTML5 D&D so my guess is that this must be a configuration issue.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit http://html5demos.com/drag with any modern browser but chromium (Firefox, QupZilla, epiphany, midori, etc.);
2. try dropping the items onto the dustbin: it works;
3. do the same with chromium: the drag starts but there is no dragover event on the target, and hence no possible drop.

Other drag&drop demos fail too, and so does my own code.

I only have access to my computer (which is running the latest Cauldron) so, if someone could confirm this, I'd be grateful.

The drag and drop worked with my 'unstable' chromium 45.0.2427.7 build in cauldron, and also with the regular chromium-browser-stable in my cauldron VM. Sorry, I have no clue why it wouldn't work for you.

Johnny, what desktop environment are you using and what theme? Just in case it's relevant. Other possible causes might involve a missing dependency.

Thank you for your quick feedback.  The question about my desktop environment was very pertinent indeed.

I'm using Notion (a fork of ion3 which is unfortunately not packaged in Mageia) and drag&drop does not work in my environment.  But the same test in Gnome works.  Doing the test in X with no window manager works too, so the problem comes from an incompatibility between chromium and my window manager.  I will report the problem upstream to the Notion developers and close this bug given that Notion is not a Mageia package.  (I wonder if other window managers have this issue too.)
