Description of problem:
After installing today Mageia 5 X86 (DVD new installation) I have problems to install the needed RPMs in order to have my traditionnals programs.
For instance :
If i choise "Clementine" in the CCM, a liste of RPMs to install is shown with several "gstreamer". I say OK
After installation if I type in the CCM "find Gstreamer" (name) there are no result.

Impossible to know what is installed or not

Please provide a screenshot. But I'm almost sure that you haven't remarked some options in rpmdrake (not drakX) that hide or show already installed packages, or non-GUI packages.

If the selector is set to "GUI applications only", it's normal that you don't see gstreamer.

Summary: Drakx is blind => can't find installed gstreamer in rpmdrake

Source RPM: automatic => (none)
