Problem to install dongle wifi usb D-link DWA-131 rev B1
ndiswrapper tell that the driver XP (.inf)  don't match  the dongle.

According to this blog post - http://bernaerts.dyndns.org/linux/74-ubuntu/277-ubuntu-precise-dwa-131-rev-b1 - this dongle should work w/o ndiswrapper.

You need rtlwifi-firmware to be installed and check if it works then.

Thanks for your answer.

rtlwifi-firmware already installed.
i use my computer with a double boot Win 7 mageia 5
with win 7 dwa-131 run perfectly

with mageia5 i have been successful to use it but for a very short time with freetux, firefox and chromium

after a while my connection die without a reason though the applet on the taskbar tell i'm still connected to my homenet.

I can use another old dongle DWL-G122 who work perfectly but fastless

When you lose connection, can you open console and type in this command: dmesg

Is there anything interesting or suspicious in this output? Any error messages?
