Could you report this to upstream as well and cc me, so I could apply fix, if there is any available. CC:

mageia @Sander: FWIW, I've did the build for 1.8.13 which also enables polkit support (and enables ATR debug output). I can commit it (minus debug enabled) so you don't have to redo it ... WDYT? CC:

Cauldron Components: ReinerSCT/Moneyplex/Cyberjack-Driver 3.99.5 / PCSC-lite 18.13 work withouit any problem under SuSE-Tumbletweet (as is provided in their repos). So it looks like the way the software is implemented in MGA5 is the problem. PS: Until today no reation of ludovic.rousseau. If the logfiles don't show a pcsc-error, this nonreaction is understandable. Reassigning, this could be a problem with the pcsc-cyberjack driver for the card reader used here. And our pcsc-cyberjack package is pretty outdated., I'll take a look. Status:
NEW =>
ASSIGNED Using the Package pcsc-cyberjack-3.99.5.SP08-1.mga5.x86_64.rpm, supplied by Florian, brought back functionality. Marking as fixed then - and happy new year :) Status:
