Description of problem:
After the package installation step the configuration of network access and setting up a user ends in the system hanging forever in cases where the network connection fails.  It is necessary to reboot via a virtual console or power cycle and go through the networking and user setup stage again.  This time a reboot is suggested for setting to be effective and this gets to the login screen.

How reproducible:
This seems to occur only if a wireless connection cannot be made.
