Hi Hoyt, The nail.rc as shipped with Mageia is the stock one from upstream. Configuring mailx for use with gmail is but one of the possibilities that mailx can be used for. At the top of the file it refers to the manpage detailing all of the configuration options. Furthermore, your page is among the first that come up when googling for using nail/mailx with gmail, so those interested in doing this will be able to do so thanks to you; Good job! For those reasons, I don't think we should amend this package for just this use alone. If you feel it would add value, perhaps you can file a report with upstream so everyone, not just Mageia users, can benefit from having this information more readily available in the nail.rc. Status:
