We would need you to try again and once you hit the bug please: - plug a USB key - go to console (alt+ctrl+F2) - run the "bug" command - attach (not paste) the resulting report.bug file you'll found on your USB key For the wifi vs live issue, please attach (not paste) the output of the "lspcidrake -v" command Keywords:

NEEDINFO There are actually 2 problems: 1) The Intel stick can only be booted via one of 2 "boot drivers" in firmware: one for Windows 8.1 and one for ubuntu 14.04 LTS amd64. 2) The Wi-Fi chip is not shown by lspcidrake -v in Mageia-5-RC-LiveDVD-KDE4-x86_64-DVD.iso. Intel must be using a Wi-Fi driver not yet in current kernels. Please attach the requested info as requested ("lspcidrake -v" output + report.bug)
I am buying a 64GB MicroSD card for the installation of mga5 instead of trying to use the built-in flash memory with ubuntu LTS already installed. I am closing this report. The EFI partition i write porotected on mmcblk0. Resolution:
