Geogebra is edited for International GeoGebra Institute is a non-profit organization, registered in Austria. The source code is licensed to you under the terms of the GNU General Public License (version 3 or later) and has package in RPM for Fedora and OpenSuse: http://www.geogebra.org/cms/download

I installed this RPM package in Mageia 3 and it worked fine. It is standalone package, do not install other dependencies and installs correctly an icon in the "application launcher menu", in "Science" and "Mathematics"

Geogebra is translated into many languages, including Portuguese of Brazil, which is my native language.

This is a good software to be in the official repository of Mageia.

The site "Linux Packages Search" indicates that the Mageia Russian Community has already provided the package geogebra for the Mageia 2:

Hello,

I contacted Geogebra team in order to know why they did not provide tarball with sources, in order to let us compile the software for Geogebra. It appears that Geogebra does not respect the licence and rules for an 'appropriate' free software. Geogebra is distributed under CC-BY-SA-ND, which does not allow to modify the software. It's fake free software. 
If somebody wants to package it for Mageia, he will have to be very attentive on the licence ... :/ (not to include it in /core for example)
