Mageia 5 When using virtual machine in UEFI mode and same iso it works (installer boots) without problems.

tmb, yves.brungard_mageia I tried this ISO, written on USB stick with Isodumper, UEFI ticked. I didn't reproduce this error. The stage2 starts on real hardware, UEFI mode. Thanks for tip. You were right, IsoDumper is fine. My steps: 1. Checked whole USB for errors. It was OK. Used IsoDumper. Installation test failed. 2. Recreated msdos partition table using parted. Used IsoDumper. Installation test failed. 3. Wiped clean whole disk with zeros. Used IsoDumper. Installation test succeeded. So it was z problem with my USB. I guess the problem was because this drive had GPT on it earlier. Status:
