Description Jude Ashvin Lobo Shenoy 2015-04-27 12:58:32 CEST
I have been using the default shorewall firewall on mageia 5 cauldron from the time i installed it. The default level is standard. i was just trying to change the security levels to test my firewall but am not allowed to change it at all. If i click on the other 4 levels, they just dont get selected at all and the standard level remains as it is.

I tried to untick the enable MSEC tool check box and then all the security levels get blurred out (nothing can be selected). If i re-tick the enable MSEC tool the levels stay blurred till i close the system security and audit box completely and reopen it. Then they are as they were before. but just cannot get any level activated by clicking on them.

I just found out that i can change the security levels through CLI ex. msec -f secure but not through gui.
Comment 9 Thierry Vignaud 2015-04-27 14:14:30 CEST
It might be a gtk+3 regression

Might be linked to the python issues in msec-gui.

Duplicate of bug 14777, but see also bug 15981 where a user reports it doesn't work in spite of the fix.
