They are probably due to alignment (but the hole was 1.5MB in my test while I thought we aligned on 1MB), but this is not usable for anything so we should not show it.

Also, I don't know why we don't extend the first partition to not leave a hole give that it was auto allocated.

The code say 1MB for the start:

On dos partition tables we do some complex alignment of the end to cylinder boundary:

On gpt ones we only adjust the start and not the end.
