2 trashcans, 1 on the desktop showing trash and one in systray showing no trash.
What is that systray trash icon? I've never seen that before. As far as the issues with the Trash icon on the desktop itself, I can confirm this. When you add or delete trash, it does not update the icon until you log out and log back in. This issue is not present on Mageia 4. Assigning to the maintainer. Thanks for the report. CC:

mageia That trash icon in the systray is a widget i installed. The trash on the desktop does disappear after a reboot. :)

MGA5TOO No activity here for more than a year - Still valid? Is it KDE/Plasma, or what DE? Which widget does not work? Is there another that work? CC:

fri This is KDE. I think this issue is resolved. I delete a file on the desktop and this time it shows in the systray trash can but not on the desktop trash can. This should be fine.
