Description of problem:
After correcting the symbolic link of /etc/localtime (due to bug 14888 it
started with /mnt/usr/... ) the KDE desktop is at least partially missing its 
theme. 

For example when dragging a box on the desktop to select several icons
it normally draws a nice transparent blue box. After fixing the /etc/localtime
link and logging into the desktop again the box is now old-school X11-like, 
just an outline box with a dotted black and white draw pattern. 
Also the menus suddenly have a rectangular outline in contrast to the rounded 
box corners before with the proper theme. There are several other buttons and
(Qt?) GUI elements that look suddenly "wrong".

When setting the /etc/localtime link back to point to an invalid location and 
logging into the desktop again, the proper (nice) KDE theme is back.

x86_64, installation with MGA 5, beta 3, updated to current cauldron.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. log into KDE with broken /etc/localtime link, draw a selection box on the 
   desktop => nice, blue transparent box
2. correct /etc/localtime (in my case to Europe/Berlin - in case it's this
   specific timezone that is triggering the bug)
3. log out and back in, draw a selection box on the desktop => old-school X11 
   non-filled box outline in black and white dotted style.

(4. you can now set the /etc/localtime link back to some invalid location and 
    repeat the cycle)

Ehem ... I cannot reproduce it anymore. This issue bugged me for the last days
and in the moment of complaining to the bug tracker it apparently decided to 
disappear. I can now set /etc/localhost to the correct timezone file and the
KDE theme remains fine.

Please excuse the noise - it must have been a freak phenomenon, sorry. :-/
