Currently I have installed Mageia 1 x86_64 with:
nvidia-cuda-toolkit-devel-3.2.16-1.mga1
nvidia-cuda-toolkit-3.2.16-1.mga1
nvidia-current-cuda-opencl-270.41.19-1.mga1

Please provide cuda toolkit 4.0.17 from http://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-toolkit-40

Sorry for replying so late, we are very short on triagers.

It is unknown when there'll be backports for Mageia. 

nvidia-cuda-toolkit-4.0.17 is in cauldron now, so at least that version will be in Mga 2 stable

Please close this bug.

I started using the package from nVIDIA website like cudatoolkit_4.2.9_linux_64_fedora14.run

That works fine in Mageia 2 x86_64.
