I just checked my scheduler after switching to deadline via rc.local:

cat /sys/block/sda/queue/scheduler 

and saw: "none"




kernel 3.19.0-desktop-2.mga5 #1 SMP

1.echo deadline > /sys/block/sda/queue/scheduler
2.cat /sys/block/sda/queue/scheduler 
3.see: "none"

Yes, it comes from the use of the new blk-mq i/o path by default

Unfortunately upstream has not yet added support for
switching i/o schedulers to blk-mq...

So I will switch it back to non-default for mga5
and add info to wiki about how to enable blk-mq it for those
that want to use it.
