release_blocker Status report: <tmb> kernel-rt, kernel-vserver + util-vserver are nuked from the repos.... I will still need to upload kernel-tmb-3.19 wich scales tmb series down to a single -desktop flavour <DavidWHodgins> tmb: How does that affect upgrading from a Mageia 4 system, with one of the nuked kernels? <tmb> DavidWHodgins, well, -rt and -vserver users will get stuck on 3.14 series from mga4 (wich should still work without problems) <tmb> kernel-tmb-desktop-latest will obsolete the laptop/server variants CC:

remi To the QA team: when testing upgrades (which also means when upgrades are working generally speaking, cf. bug 15350), it would be nice to test some of those transitions: - kernel-rt 3.14 in Mageia 4, should be kept and work in Mageia 5 - kernel-vserver 3.14 in Mageia 4, should be kept and work in Mageia 5 Once Thomas has pushed his updated kernel-tmb 3.19, we'll also have to ensure that: - kernel-tmb-{desktop,desktop586,laptop,server} 3.14 in Mageia 4 are all upgraded to kernel-tmb-desktop 3.19 in Mageia 5 and work out of the box QA Contact:
