Msecgui uses mandriva icon for Updates information on its main screen. After the rebranding, this icon is gone.

I'd propose using some common naming scheme for icons to be in sync between mdv and mga (for example, system-update.png?) if msec is supposed to be cross-compatible between distribution.

Otherwise, the fix is trivial, change msecgui.py to use correct icon instead of mandriva one.

The icon cames from drakconf-icons package, just to complement.

one question. As we are using upstream package and we do not modify it, why should we change icon?

we just patch it to remove "mandriva" branding words btw. But i agree that i don't see why we can't use images. We use images of other softs ( system-config-printer, ... )

For a quick fix (hint: look at the reporting date ;) ) i'd propose using a simple Mageia icon to fix this one, and then think about the other copyrighted components issues.
