Description Chris Denice 2011-06-02 18:09:28 CEST
Hi,
just hit an issue with the ocaml-3.12.0-2.mga1.src.rpm trying to compile mlnet from sources:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/mldonkey/files/mldonkey/3.0.7/mldonkey-3.0.7.tar.bz2/download

Compilation fails with this error:

-I src/networks/donkey -I +camlp4 -c src/daemon/common/commonMain.ml
File "src/daemon/common/commonMain.ml", line 20, characters 0-12:
Error: Unbound module Printf2

In the configure file of mlnet, one can specify to directly download and compile ocaml 3.12 from the inria web site for compiling mlnet. The switch is

--enable-force-ocaml

With this option, the compilation works fine, which may suggest that we have a problem with our packaged version of ocaml. I don't think it is due to a missing package since I've paid attention to urpmi -a ocaml-

Chris.

Hi Chris,
I can't reproduce the bug now.
Can you check it works for you?
It might have been fixed by the recent ocaml rebuild.
Best
