also evident in Mageia-5-beta3-i586-DVD.iso, Thu Feb 5 23:44:06 CET 2015, Cinnamon desktop normally, after pressing the update button, there is a popup that advises which updates are selected, the number of packages, etc.., In this case, it shows that the unselected packages will be installed. If no updates are selected, popup advises to select some - this is correct The updater appears to allow cdrdao to be selected or not, and will not install if selected not to install.

Can you abort updates next time you see this then run the following commands: urpmi --bug bug15233 --auto-select tar cfa bug15233{.tar.xz,} Then send the bug15233.tar.xz tarball to me by email (it will be too big for bugzilla) so that I can have a look at the issue
