I could only upgrade packages with urpmi --auto-update command This installation was done on a desktop and was installed with the media Mageia 5 Alpha 1 and is updated to Mageia beta 2 (Updated by text mode today, January 30, 2015). This error appeared after the latest updates on January 27, 2015,. I tried to reboot with another older kernel and still gives the same error. The problem was related to lack of updating the drive of nvidia video card. This procedure was necessary after updating the latest packages. I booted Mageia in safe mode. I typed in the terminal exit. After I typed drakconf. I set up the video again (several packages were automatically installed) and I booted Mageia normally and the graphics mode worked properly. bug resolved Status:
