Description of problem:
While I know that Mageia3 is no longer supported, given the risk of Ghost it would be a nice gesture to put out an  updated glibc to protect against it. Some desktop users do not update every year and with Mageia 5 on its way soon having a glibc update until it is released would be most welcome.

EOL means EOL.  Sorry.  There are plenty of other unfixed vulnerabilities for Mageia 3 as well (some more serious for most users even if less well publicized).  Please upgrade to Mageia 4.
