Oops! Erroneously hitting âreturnâ in a text field submitted the bug before I finished writing it... Sorry. ___ The âcadenceâ tools (https://github.com/falkTX/Cadence) were recently added to the core repository. One of the tools, the renderer, requires âjack_captureâ (https://github.com/kmatheussen/jack_capture), which isn't available/packaged in Mageia today. Steps: 1. run âcadenceâ (and start the jack server if needed); 2. go to the âToolsâ tab and click on the âRendererâ image; 3. see the error message: âThe 'jack_capture' application is not available. Is not possible to render without it!â Searching for âjack_captureâ in the repository (urpmf jack_capture) returns no significant result. It would make sense to package this tool and add it to the repository so that âcadenceâ will not complain.
