Description of problem:

 I want to install the 4.1 MAGEIA DVD (USB KEY INSTALL) on acer aspire one ZG5. In this computer, I have a wifi USB (11n USB Ada, Identifiant du fabricant: â0x0bda, Identifiant du périphérique: â0x8172, module r8712u).
For my first install, the package WPA_SUPPLICANT doesn't install (and his dependency). 
To correct it, I have used an another computer to get theses rpm and install them on my computer (my computer has a broken port ethernet and the internal wifi PCI-E was replaced by an BCM970015 PCI-E card).

Why the package WPA_SUPPLICANT and his dependency are not install by default ?

It could have been a side effect of bug #14435 which is fixed in Cauldron (future mga5)

Setting version to cauldron since we can't fix the installer in Mageia 4. Can you tell us if it's fixed in Mageia 5 RC, as comment #6 suggests?

Could you try Mga5 RC?
This bug is fixed in it.
