After the install process is completed system boots to
an unusable desktop and displays "Not listed"?. You can
power off system. Hot key to apps does not respond.

Ok on real iron (athlon x2, nvidia-current, ivtv)

Possibly missing x11-driver-video-vboxvideo ?

wilcal on real hardware: Installs from Boot menu,
Boots to a working desktop. General apps launch and work.
Updates cleanly, then reboots back to a working desktop.
