We have pidgin-libnotify in the repository. Does this one do anything pidgin-libnotify doesn't? CC:

And under KDE4 now most GTK apps use the plasma notifications (this has been the case since KDE 4.4 or 4.5 IIRC). will Mr.Ahmad i didnt know that GTK apps will use plasma notification under kde so i request it here any way thanks Easiest way is to try it yourself, install pidgin-libnotify and see if you get plasma notifications or not :) P.S. don't forget to enable the plugin in pidgin -> Tools -> Plugins. will thanks Mr.Ahmad but can this plugin used by in the other environments like XFCE / Gnome-Shell It's working in KDE and LXDE, so I think it should work in any of the bigger environments. Please try it. Oliver well i will close now kde and trying it at E17 I s this still valid? Or does pidgin-libnotify do the trick? Status:
