There is on mandriva repositories. Thus, if we can use on mageia by using this code:

So, I would like to suggest to add the msn pecan to the mageia 2 repositories now.

Thanks for giving the link to Mandriva, I wasn't aware the package was in Mdv2010.2 contrib release because I checked for msn-pecan instead of for pidgin-msn-pecan.

So if someone finds time to package it, it is even valid to import in for Mageia1

I submitted these package now:

2 minutes ago 	shlomif 	pidgin-msn-pecan-0.1.3-2.mga1 	1 	core/updates_testing 		uploaded	2 minutes

They are straightforward ports of the Mandriva Cooker package, only with tabs converted to spaces.

Testing complete on i586 for the srpm
pidgin-msn-pecan-0.1.3-2.mga1.src.rpm

I disabled my msn account and added a wlm account.  Works fine.

Tested HTML method over proxy on x86_64. Seems to work fine, at least better than the old plugin. Tho' it probably needs testing with non-HTML method too.
