Description of problem: httpfs depends on FUSE. It uses HTTP/1.1 extensions to read arbitrary bytes from a file on a web-server. This is particular interesting for an iso, since it can be investigated (loop device) without actually downloading the whole iso.

Hello Pavel Kreuzt,

I have built httpfs2 for mga5, here a test package :

ftp://download.asso-linux-online.fr/download/packages-mlo/Mageia/David.david/x86_64/httpfs2-0.1.5-0.1.mga5.x86_64.rpm


Also here the srpm if you want rebuild an i586 package :

Can you test it and give feedback, please ?

Now httpfs2 package is imported and he is submitted on Cauldron:
