1 installation transactions failed

There was a problem during the installation:

...retrieving failed: rsync failed: exited with 35

It seems that the mirror has changed so much that it corrupts my install. I had to use mondorestore to bring back my system to a point. I am not able to update my system till this is fixed.

How to reproduce:

I tried to update the mirror list using Mageia control center drakrpm-edit-media but that is what seems to cause the problem or it just did not help the problem. It seems to be that this mirror rsync://mirror.pw/mageia/distrib/4/i586/media/core/updates is the problem. It may be that I do not have a good understanding of the mirrors. Should I use a different mirror and not use the automatic update in MCC? Can you point me to some info on the mirrors so that I can learn more about them in detail?

As a wordaround you can add manually another mirror,

sysadmin, time to remove mirror (there are other, see pascal page)
Comment 3 Filip Komar 2016-07-03 23:59:39 CEST
It seems that offending mirror (mirror.pw) was removed some time ago.

Please reopen if needed.
