Description nikos papadopoulos 2014-12-12 20:28:02 CET
Description of problem:
Touchscreens are not the future.
They are, already, here!

But, for some reason, Linux likes to ignore them,
or at least, not make the most of it.

Here are some issues I had, and some suggestions,
for drakrpm, in particular,
while using my small, narrow, screen on a Lenovo netbook
(IdeaPad S10-3t
http://shop.lenovo.com/us/notebooks/ideapad/s-series/s10-3t)

The mentioned problems are "drakrpm specific".
There are, also, other, general GTK3 issues
(such as font size, gripping separators, etc)

Maybe Mageia could create a "touch screen GTK3 theme",
and default to it, when detecting a touch screen
(during the installation).

Just a suggestion.

Or, if you decide to go with Qt, keep these issues in mind.
