An alternative to removing them entirely might be to move unsupported releases into a separate "old" directory, similar to what was done for Mandriva: ftp://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/linux/MandrivaLinux/old/ Mirrors could then choose whether or not to carry them. Distrib-coffee also has a "pre-history" directory for Mandriva: ftp://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/linux/mandriva-prehistory/ but I don't think Mageia is old enough to have a "pre-history" :) (In reply to James Kerr from comment #1) > An alternative to removing them entirely might be to move unsupported > releases into a separate "old" directory, similar to what was done for > Mandriva: > ftp://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/linux/MandrivaLinux/old/ Yeah, I think tmb would already have done that if we had cloned him. > > Mirrors could then choose whether or not to carry them. > I'll file a separate report about some other things in mirror.readme that need to be fixed Summary:
