misc Just a reminder so this doesn't slip through the cracks. Version:

1 BTW, this one is just a simple import and rebuild from MDV. @ David Do you mind filling out the URL: field here, too? CC:

marja11 Just to follow up to what I said on the other bug, I'd really rather not have to package this particular one myself. It needs to be kept aligned with the apache package, and really should be the responsibility of the apache packager. I'm really not sure why they haven't picked this one up already. Luckily, it requires no extra effort. URL:

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/suexec.html set version to cauldron, as package request will first be solved in cauldron and then automatically be in next stable version Version:

Cauldron I agree, this package is, imho, primordial for using Mageia as a reasonable web server. Without it Mageia might loose out... I don't think it is only an enhancement, In my opinion it is a major problem that it is missing. I am hoping to see this package soon :-) HC Priority:

dmorganec @ dmorgan if you didn't already maintain > 1000 packages, I would have assigned this to you It really *needs* to be assigned to the apache maintainer. This package doesn't even come with its own source, it just builds from the apache source we already have packaged. It needs to be rebuilt whenever that source is updated. It would be an insignificant addition to the workload of updating the existing apache packages. Hi David, The apache maintainer is already Cc'ed on this report. If no action is taken on this bug in the next weeks, I'll assign this to myself. Sincerely, Remco
