Description of problem: if to install LXDE with MATE together, then several desktop files from LXDE does not work in MATE and is not hidden from Menu.
There is GNOME in NotShowIn, for example, but missing MATE

1. install LXDE and MATE
2. log in MATE
3. see LXDE in Menu of MATE
