Description Pierre Jarillon 2014-11-20 16:01:36 CET
Description of problem:

When gsmartcontrol is started fom the menu, Only the blinking icon is activated during 20s.

If gsmartcontrol is started from a root console, gsmartcontrol works fine.
If gsmartcontrol is started from a user console, the root passwd is asked and gsmartcontrol works fine.

It seems that gsmartcontrol cannot ask the root passwd.

From a console, I get these warnings:
$ gsmartcontrol
You are attempting to run a command which requires administrative
privileges, but more information is needed in order to do so.
Authenticating as "root"
