This patch fix problem with Publisher, but applications does not start anyway.
Matteo, you're an author. Will you fix?
I'm on it Alex @Alex it's working now on my up to date cauldron. I made a new package release (openstereo-0.1.4-5) by injecting your patch and fixing two deprecated calls. Can you test it again, pls? I tested openstereo-0.1.4-5.mga5.noarch.rpm with 32bit: MATE: OK. KDE, LXDE: openstereo does not start and using 25% of CPU. It seems this is not a bug of openstereo but a more wide issue with all the desktop environment but gnome2 / mate and wxWidgets. I need more time to deeply investigate. Update: Cinnamon(2d): OK, but no window borders IceWM: NO LXDE is OK now. What was changed in LXDE? Adwaita was used instead of oxygen by default. openstereo seem to start when being run from the konsole command line on KDE on Mageia 5 x86-64. Is this also still a problem with i586? I'm going to test in a VM. CC:

I'm going to > test in a VM. OK, on KDE in an i586 VM, openstereo from the command-line indeed doesn't start. On the same VM, it starts inside a Mate desktop. So this bug still exists there.
