Description Martin Whitaker 2014-11-13 12:22:31 CET
When gdm is selected as the display manager and the Cinnamon desktop is being used, a warning message like this:

Nov 11 20:32:02 wotan /etc/X11/gdm/Xsession[2151]: Window manager warning: Log level 8: Source ID 18086 was not found when attempting to remove it

is written to the journal at regular intervals - approximately twice a second.

This can be worked round by using the LightDM display manager.

Does it still happen in latest cauldron?

GDM is just logging this. It comes from the window manager. Basically the mutter fork (don't know the name).

No, seems to have been fixed in passing.
