Description Martin Whitaker 2014-11-12 17:30:26 CET
The free radeon driver attempts to load the glamoregl module, but this is only available if the glamor package is installed. This package is not installed automatically when the radeon driver is selected.

Without the glamoregl module, the driver falls back to software rendering, so this is not a fatal error.

Installing the glamor package manually fixes the problem.

Tested on Mageia-5 beta 1 with a Radeon HD 7850 graphics card.

This is still valid for beta 3.
Comment 2 Thierry Vignaud 2015-02-21 17:46:16 CET
err, glamor was integrated within x.org in xserver 1.16 so that shouldn't been an issue.
Please attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log
