On real hardware, M5B1 RD2, KDE, 32-bit Live-CD b88b01bbfe201d570fbea07f1d2cae31 Mageia-5-beta1-LiveCD-KDE4-en-i586-CD.iso Launching PulseAudio Volume Control from KDE launch menu or desktop icon results in the following error window: "Fatal Error: Unable to connect to PulseAudio: OK" Launching pavucontrol from a terminal results in: [live@localhost ~]$ pavucontrol ** (pavucontrol:3731): WARNING **: Couldn't register with accessibility bus: Did not receive a reply. PulseAudio Volume Control fails to launch - M5B1 Installed VLC into Live-CD. Played an MP4 video but VLC reported the following error: Audio output failed: The audio device "default" could not be used: Connection refused.

mageia Mageia-5-beta1-i586-DVD.iso RD2 MD5:4806098e4bad5542be54b70a7a89eff6 Vbox install tells me this has been solved. I'll try it on real hardware. Hardware & Vbox installs tells me that this bug has been resolved. Status:
