This is still present in Beta 1 after a clean install, including formatting /home. Did it work in Mageia 4? After updating the image, do you trigger a desktop refresh? It's not shocking to me that the desktop would load the image only once. The way I see you could do it set the desktop to slideshow with only one image, so that it's reloaded from time to time. NEEDINFO This is done from a script I downloaded. I haven't tried since. I will test and report back. It did work in Mageia 4. I am not sure what is going on, but in normal use, the desktop image changes as it should. The scrip has a cron job that runs xfdesktop --reload after each new image is downloaded. That command seems to see the same filename, and do nothing. Since it is only my quirky problem, ignore it. Closing then, please reopen if you find more information about it and think there is an actual bug. Status:
