Running 5beta1 KDE as a Live-CD and then using the

Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks ( Library )

function works properly. After install the Show All Bookmarks ( Library )
function works but does not display the, or allow the editing of, Bookmarks.
I deleted Firefox 31 then reinstalled it and the problem continues. I deleted
Firefox 31 and installed Firefox 34 beta and the problem is there too.
Problem prevails after install is updated.
