From upstream bug https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=735551
We need to upgrade to webkit 2.4.5 to prevent gtk+3 plugins to cause freezes.

It seems that an updated epiphany built against 2.4.5 is not (yet) available in the repositories at this time.
