@Guillaume: how to workaround this:

********************************************************************************
* monitor_full_edid
********************************************************************************

probing EDID using VBE (port 0)
VBE: could not initialize LRMI
VBE info call failed, skipping all ports

> @Guillaume: how to workaround this:

We shouldn't work around it, we need to fix VBE, as vbetool is also broken with LRMI problems, as I reported in Bug 3910.
Comment 9 Guillaume Rousse 2015-03-17 20:46:25 CET
No need to add me to this kind of reports, I don't have any specific knowledge about retrieving EDID information, just about decoding it.

Dear All,

I testing the new RC ISO from Sun Mar 15 22:54:23 CET 2015.

Now with monitor-edid -v:
probing EDID using VBE (port 0)
VBE: could not initialize LRMI
VBE info call failed, skipping all ports
