That's gnome-system-monitor itself eating 50% CPU? or some other process? Keywords:

NEEDINFO Gnome system monitor is eating 4 - 22 % and other processes 0 %, but gnome system monitor shows 50 % CPU usage. It helped to logout and login but only untill new boot.
