Description Thomas Spuhler 2014-07-11 21:05:58 CEST
Description of problem:
Desktop (KDE) freezes from time to time. I can still log in using using ctrl+alt+Fx and then do a reboot.
(or I can log into the box from another computer and reboot it.)

These freezes are now very seldom after converting the /home partition to btrfs, but occasionally still occur. I still have / and /usr partitions as reiserfs.

I am not quite sure what causes the problem, but the logs somehow point to kworker but I may be completely wrong.
