After installation kdenlive 0.9.8 is in english. Same from alpha1. Estonian translation was done and all things with this must be ok, but not yet. In previous version of kdenlive all was ok with estonian translation.

I dont know about other languages

I have an issue with kdenlive translation too, but a bit different:
By default it was set to French (my default language) with English for fallback, but a lot of strings appeared in another weird langauage.. so I changed main language to english as that is ok for me and everything appears in english now..
So there is something wrong with translations for kdenlive.

Note I have exactly the same issue on another computer using Manjaro, except the missing french strings are in russian.. so it must be the fallback-language option in kdenlive that is broken, maybe not really the same bug than the one reported for estonian translation.

Is this bug still present in Mageia 5 RC or latest cauldron?

Here I can't reproduce the issue I had, french with english fallback is working fine.
