Description of problem:
I get black screens when picking applications within mcc when running through an xterm or konsole using su - root, an running mcc. I click something like Set up the graphical server and get

Too late to run INIT block at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.20.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/Glib/Object/Introspection.pm line 257.

Subroutine Gtk3::main redefined at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.20.0/Gtk3.pm line 293.

How reproducible: Always


Steps to Reproduce:
Clean install of Mageia-5-alpha1-x86_64-DVD.iso. Default runlevel: 3
Package Group Selection screen has all package groups selected except
Other Graphical Desktops. non-free and tainted media are enabled.
Followed with:
remove-unused-packages
urpmi --downloader wget --auto --auto-update
urpme --auto-orphans and reboot. 
 
Desktop: KDE   Theme: Oxygen    Window Decorations: plastik
Desktop effects are disabled. 
1. click up a terminal
2. su - root
3. mcc
4. click Hardware on left menu
5. click Set up the graphical server

$  cat /etc/sysconfig/desktop
DESKTOP=KDE4
DISPLAYMANAGER=kdm

Same problem when running ssh from same node.
Problem does not show up when using ssh from Mga4 system nor does it show up when running from kde from a root login.

Same problem if running via the kde menu as bittwister.

I am guessing problem is caused by runlevel 3. Problem does not occur when in runlevel 5.

Oh yeah, video driver is vesa. fglrx ati driver will not start.

Disabled user desktop effects, rebooted. Problem is also in runlevel 5. No clue as to what is causing the black screens.

if it's still valid maybe the oxygen theme + icon are missing

Installed Mageia-5-alpha2-x86_64-DVD.iso, applied updates, reboot and problem no longer exists.

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
Resolution: (none) => FIXED
